Hi, my name is Simon Powis and I run this site! I am a classical guitarist myself and if you would like to know more about me you can visit my website at http://www.simonpowis.com

This site started as a hobby of mine and over the years it has built a small but consistent following. The site itself attracts between 6 and 10 thousand unique visitors a month. I try my best to have some regularity with posts but as most will understand, life regularly gets in the way. I am open to anyone that wants to contribute to the site, there have been a few contributors over the years but many approach me because they want to publicize themselves. I am more interested in contributors that want to share their passion, or knowledge with others.

I aim to keep the site positive. I feel like the internet is overwhelmingly negative much of the time so I will not tolerate harassment or overly negative comments directed at any individual.

In regards to reviews, I will occasionally write about CDs, books and concerts that I really enjoy. I have no interest in cutting someone down and I will never post a harsh review. I would rather just not post anything at all. That being said, if your submission does not appear on the site straight away it is more likely that I didn’t have time (because I do put thought into what I write). I apologize in advance for this frustrating ambiguity!
