The World premiere of David Del Tredici‘s Facts of Life

A 35-minute solo guitar piece commissioned for the occasion.  It now carries the  subtitle, “a symphony for solo guitar”, which says it all.  This is a significant moment for the guitar repertoire – don’t miss it!

Joining David on the first half of the concert is the great harpist, Yolanda Kondonassis.  We will perform the gorgeous Sonata: Spirit of Trees by Alan Hovhaness and the elegant, but little-known Fantasia by Xavier Montsalvatge.
