Alexandra Whittingham opens the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society’s 2026–27 concert season with three performances from 2 to 4 October. The series offers one evening recital and two afternoon options across Philadelphia and nearby Newtown.

- Saturday 3 October, 3pm: Zlock Performing Arts Center, 275 Swamp Road, Newtown.
- Sunday 4 October, 3pm: Settlement Music School, 416 Queen Street, Philadelphia.

Whittingham combines an international recital career with a substantial audience for her filmed performances. These concerts offer listeners who first encountered her online an opportunity to hear the guitar in a live acoustic setting.

The society’s October page provides programme information and ticket links. Check the listing for your chosen venue before booking: the three performances take place at different addresses, and the Newtown recital is outside Philadelphia itself.
