Uppsala International Guitar Festival’s 2026 programme runs from 7–11 October, with Zoran Dukić and European Guitar Quartet among the principal attractions for classical listeners. The wider festival also reaches beyond Uppsala, so visitors should check the city and venue attached to each booking.
Classical dates to note
Dukić appears at Uppsala Konsert & Kongress on Friday 9 October at 18:00. European Guitar Quartet follows there on Saturday 10 October at 19:00, with the Young Talents Competition listed earlier that day at 13:00.
Hayoung Lee, winner of the festival’s 2025 Young Talents Competition, appears in the programme too, including a lunchtime concert in Uppsala on 8 October. Duo Siqueira Lima features in the festival’s associated events.
The guitar fair takes place on 9–10 October, offering another reason for players and teachers to allow time between concerts. The festival spans several musical traditions; use the individual programme listings to build a visit around the performances that interest you most.
